Keyif is a special word in the Turkish language, and describes a state of mental being which is roughly translated to ''taking great pleasure in one's activity.'' Keyf Restaurant in Yalikavak derives its name from ''keyif'' and is the perfect venue for sheer pleasure. The informal seating is located directly in front of the local fishing boats with a refreshing breeze from the sea. The calamari is divine, and one serving of the local smoked herring is never enough. Best of all, the friendly service means that even this fussy diner can ask for odd requests without hesitation.
