Evimiz Restaurant in downtown Bodrum

A French restaurant with a Turkish name that means ''our home''  has opened to great reviews, so we meandered down to its back street location for lunch. Evimiz has a fixed, three course lunch tabildot for 15 TL per person, and the menu does not repeat day to day or even week to week.  We started off with lightly fried sardines on whole grain toast with pesto sauce, followed by beef bourguignon with string potatoes and julienned vegetables.  The ambiance of an old stone house was lovely and Belgian chef Stefan delivered to a fully packed room at a perfect pace.  We'll be back for the escargot, antrekot and steak tartare very soon.  Trip Advisor reviews are here.
