Gulet Charter on the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia

Picture
Due to demand from our returning clients in Turkey and Greece, Southern Cross Blue Cruising is please to present a carefully chosen selection of hand-picked gulets operating out of Croatia. Here is the quick link to our fleet.

For  gulet cruising, crewed yachts and sailing enthusiasts, Croatia and in particular the Dalmatian coast is a wonderland of beautiful waters, magnificent scenery and warm friendly people which should not be missed.

How Does a Gulet Charter in Croatia Compare to a Charter in Turkey?

Picture24 meter gulet Andjeo
Charter rates for gulets, crewed yachts and bare boats are higher than Turkey for instance, as are marinas which are twice the price. This is due in part to the much higher salaries (approximately double) paid in Croatia than Turkey. Provisioning and board costs are about the same as the Turkish coast.

Now together with our associate office based in Split, Southern Cross Blue Cruising is ready, willing and able to assist you with a trouble free and wonderful gulet charter, crewed yacht or bare boat charter in Croatia.

With over a thousand islands for the gulets and yachts to meander through, either mooring in secluded bays and coves or berthing in the multitude of marinas in the small and larger ports, there is always something different to be experienced.

Explore Medieval Walled Cities of the Adriatic

Picture
Embarkation of your gulet or yacht can be in Split, Zadar or Dubrovnik all of which have airports close by regularly serviced during the summer months. Time out should be taken in all of these to visit the many examples of early architecture dating back to the 7 century A.D.. Many areas have been designated as UNESCO world heritage sites since the end of the war of independence in the early 1990’s.

Your gulet charter itinerary can be designed to travel either north or south depending on the preferred port of embark. If embarking in either Split or Dobrovnik you can visit the major islands of Brač, Hvar, Korcula and Mljet.

The Island of Korcula, first settled by Neolithic people, is a must (although unproven) it is believed to be the birthplace of legendary explorer Marco Polo in 1254 A.D. The exciting, wonderful preserved old walled town dates back to Venetian times around the early 12th century.

Explore local Croatian family wineries

For the wine connoisseur the coast and islands abound with boutique wineries producing excellent and distinctive red and white wines. Fresh land and sea produce abound and the excellent chefs aboard your charter yacht will produce delightful Mediterranean fusion cuisine highlighted with traditional Dalmatian specialties.

Whatever your group size there is a gulet, crewed yacht or bare boat to suit your individual needs in Croatia.
